State to honor law enforcement officers

Gov. Linda Lingle has proclaimed Monday as "Peace Officers Memorial Day" in Hawai'i and ordered state flags at state and county building flown at half-staff that day.Her order is in conjunction with President Bush's order that all U.S. flags be at half-staff Monday to honor the nation's law enforcement officers.
