Advertiser Staff

State Sen. Clayton Hee has jumped into the crowded Democratic primary for the U.S. House in the 2nd Congressional District, he announced today.

Hee, 53, has 20 years of public office behind him, including the state House and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.

Hee is midway through his four-year term as state senator, D-23rd (Kane'ohe, Kahuku), and will not have to resign his seat to run for Congress.
