'Aiea is top seed for tourney

'Aiea, the O'ahu Interscholastic Association champion, received the No. 1 seed for the Wally Yonamine Foundation Baseball State Championship to be played Wednesday through Saturday at Iron Maehara Stadium on Maui.

Kamehameha (ILH) is the No. 2 seed; Baldwin (MIL) is No. 3; and Kamehameha-Hawai'i (BIIF) is No. 4.

The seeded teams will receive a first-round bye, and open play Thursday.

WEDNESDAY

Game 1 Moanalua vs. Waiakea, 11:30 a.m.

Game 2 Waimea vs. Kaiser, 2 p.m.

Game 3 Punahou vs. Kailua, 4:30 p.m.

Game 4 Maui vs. Castle, 7 p.m.
