San Francisco snaps UH's baseball win streak

Hawai'i returned from a 10-day hiatus with a 15-1 loss to San Francisco Tuesday at Benedetti Diamond in San Francisco.It was the worst loss of the season for the Rainbows (37-13), who had an eight-game win streak snapped by the West Coast Conference co-champion Dons (37-19), winners of nine in a row. Hawai'i tied a season-high in allowing runs and hits (21). It gave up those same numbers in a 15-9 loss to Texas-Arlington on March 1.
Luis Avila had two of UH's four hits, a triple and RBI double.
The Rainbows play at San Jose State for a three-game series starting Friday.
