Man, 42, held as robbery suspect

Police on Sunday arrested a 42-year-old man as a suspect in a strong-arm robbery reported by a 32-year-old man.

The man who reported the incident told police he had stopped his motor scooter at an intersection when two men attacked him, took his possessions and ran away.

Police found one suspect and arrested him on suspicion of robbery.


THREAT ALLEGATION LEADS TO AN ARREST

Police arrested a 41-year-old Hawai'i Kai man suspected of twice phoning a 42-year-old woman and saying he was going to kill her.

Police arrested the man at about 5 p.m. Sunday at his Kamehame Place home on suspicion of terroristic threatening.
