Trade winds should return tonight

Mild spring weather is on tap for today and the rest of the work week, according to the National Weather Service.

A weak cold front across the state is expected to dissipate later today with the trade winds making their return by late this evening, forecasters said.

That, in turn, will lead to trade wind weather that should last through the weekend.

Day-by-day forecasts are as follows:

  • Today, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 73 to 79. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Tonight, mostly clear. Lows 64 to 71. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

  • Tomorowy, mostly sunny early in the morning, then partly cloudy with isolated showers in the late morning and afternoon. Highs 76 to 82. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Tomorrow night, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 71. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Friday, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs 79 to 84. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

  • Friday night, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 71. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
