North, east shores will have the best surf today

Advertiser Staff

Surfers should head for the beaches along O'ahu's north- or east-facing shores, where wave faces in the 6- to 8-foot range are expected today, according to the National Weather Service.

Make today count, because no new significant swells are on the horizon, forecasters said.

Surf along south- and west-facing shores today is expected to be on the order of 1 to 3 feet.
