South swell expected late Sunday

Advertiser Staff

Waves with faces of 4 to 8 feet are expected along north- and east facing shores today.

Elsewhere, the surf should be running 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along shores that face to the west.

The outlook through Tuesday calls for the ongoing north swell to slowly diminish through tomorrow.

A south swell is expected to arrive by late Sunday and continue through Tuesday with wave heights expected to remain below advisory levels.
