Power restored in Kaonohi Ridge area

Company spokesman Jose Dizon said HECO began receiving calls about 4 a.m. from customers saying their power was out.
Repair crews traced the problem to a 12,000-volt distribution line in a remote area.
Crew members were able to reroute power through the area to bring back service to most customers while repairs are being made to the distribution line, Dizon said.
"We still have a handfull of customers who don't have their power back," Dizon said.
He could not immediately say how quickly permanent repairs to the damaged line will be completed.
