Police Beat: Man arrested for exposing himself on bus

Police are seeking charges against a 44-year-old man who allegedly exposed himself on a city bus in Kane'ohe yesterday and fondled a 15-year-old girl.

The man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. on suspicion of third- and fourth-degree sexual assault.

Suspect arrested for kidnapping, sexual assault

Police arrested a 25-year-old man in Waipahu yesterday after a 17-year-old girl said she accepted a ride from the man who took her to an isolated area instead of her intended destination and sexually assaulted her.

The girl said she called police after the man released her about 11:30 a.m.

Police located the man and arrested him for suspicion of kidnapping and third-degree sexual assault.

Three arrested in Waikiki beating

Two men, ages 29 and 30, and a 28-year-old woman were arrested in WaikIkI last night after a 36-year-old man reported being beaten and robbed by the trio Sunday morning.

Police found the man injured and lying in his car in Wai'anae about 8:30 a.m. The man told police two other men and a woman assaulted him, held him against his will, took his car, drove to a remote area, continued to beat him and took his property.

Police said the man sustained injuries to his face and upper body.

They said the man later identified the three assailants, who were arrested at 8:15 last night at the corner of Nahua Street and Kuhio Avenue on suspicion of first-degree robbery, kidnapping and unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
