State housing director retires

Stephanie Aveiro, executive director of the Housing and Community Development Corporation of Hawai'i, announced her retirement today at an agency board meeting.The HCDC is the state public housing agency. It focuses on providing affordable housing.
Aveiro has been on the job since December 2003.
