UH in Baseball America poll; first time in 7 years

The University of Hawai'i baseball team cracked the Baseball America poll for the first time in seven years with a No. 24 ranking, it was announced today.The 40-13 Rainbows last appeared in the Durham, N.C.-based poll in February of 1999.
Meanwhile, UH moved up in the Collegiate Baseball poll to 28th. The Rainbows had been 29th last week.
UH opens play Thursday in the WAC Tournament against Louisiana Tech.
