UH's Costi is WAC pitcher of week

University of Hawai'i pitcher Justin Costi was named the Western Athletic Conference pitcher of the week, the conference office announced today.Costi, a senior from Elk Grove, Calif., pitched a complete-game 6-0 win over San Jose State Saturday. The righthander yielded six hits and one walk while striking out four as UH swept the Spartans.
It is the third time in his career Costi has been player of the week.
Nevada designated hitter Terry Walsh was named the hitter of the week. Outfielder Matt Inouye was UH's nominee.
