New south swell expected tomorrow

Advertiser Staff

The waves are on their way down along O'ahu's south-facing shores but wave faces should still be in the range of 3 to 5 feet today, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

A small north swell is due in later today but is expected to diminish slowly tomorrow and Friday.

But the good news is a new south swell should arrive tomorrow and grow as the weekend approaches, peaking below advisory level on Saturday.

Surf along east-facing shores today is expected to be 2 to 4 feet, while north- and west-facing shores should see waves of 1 to 3 feet.
