New south swell to peak tomorrow

Advertiser Staff

There should be plenty of moderate-size surf to go around today while the new south swell that arrived last night continues to build toward its peak tomorrow.

Waves along east-facing shores should feature faces of 2 to 4 feet today.

North Shore wave faces should be in the 3-to-5-foot range, while the forecast calls for 2 to 4 feet along south-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along west-facing shores.

The south swell is expected to diminish on Sunday and Monday, with no new swell on the horizon after that.
