Motorcycle officer injured in crash

A motorcycle police officer was seriously injured in an accident this afternoon on the H-1 Freeway.The officer, a five-year veteran of the force, was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in serious, but stable condition. His name was not released by the department.
The accident occurred just before 4 p.m. in the east-bound lanes of the H-1 near the Middle Street off-ramp.
