JAY MOHR CANCELS

A comedy concert by Jay Mohr, scheduled for July 7 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall, has been canceled. Refunds will be given at the point of purchase.

ERYKAH BADU IS COMING

Mark your calendars: Erykah Badu, acclaimed purveyor of neo-soul/R&B/hip-hop/jazz, is scheduled to play Pipeline Cafe June 30. Doors open at 6 p.m. It's an 18-and-older show. More details to come.

Also at Pipeline, June 17: rap star Talib Kweli. Doors open at 9 p.m. This, too, is for those 18 and older.

CONCERTS AT BISHOP MUSEUM

The Moonlight Mele on the Lawn concert series at the Bishop Museum features favorite Island performers, food, drinks and desserts available for purchase. And it's your chance to tour the Science Adventure Center.

The concert lineup:

  • Na Palapalai and pianist Aaron J. Sala, June 15

  • 'Ukulele wizard Jake Shimabukuro, July 26

  • The Makaha Sons, Aug. 15.

    Doors open at 6 p.m. for the general public, 5:30 p.m. for museum members. Admission is $15 general, $10 museum members and Bank of Hawaii customers and employees, $5 kids 4-12. 847-3511.
