Man arrested in death-threat case

Police on Wednesday arrested a Hau'ula man who allegedly threatened to kill a 48-year-old woman earlier this month.

The woman told police the man threatened to kill her during an incident on May 2 at her Hau'ula home.


MAN DETAINED IN DFS GALLERIA THEFT

A 62-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly shoplifted 14 aloha shirts from the DFS Galleria in Waikiki.

Store security officers told police they saw the man put the shirts in a plastic bag and walk out of the store about 5:30 p.m. without paying.

Security officers detained the man after he left the store.


STRANGER CAUGHT IN CAR IN MILILANI

Police arrested a 30-year-old man in Mililani early Wednesday morning after he was found searching the interior of a car that did not belong to him.

Police said a witness called 911 about 1:15 a.m. to report a stranger had entered the car, near the corner of Moenamanu Street and Kipapa Drive.
