Surf on south shores 4 to 6 feet through Sunday

Advertiser Staff

According to the National Weather Service, there should be 4 to 6 foot faces on Oahu's south shores today and Sunday, with diminishing wave heights on Monday and through the week.

Daytime water temperatures should remain in the mid-70 degrees.

A small northwest swell will result in 2-to-4-foot waves today and Sunday along the North Shore.

Windward Oahu will see the smallest surf, but light trade winds may cause a slight increase in wave faces with choppy conditions over the weekend; those waves probably won't exceed the 3-foot level.

Expect ideal Island beach conditions today through Memorial Day.
