Jimmy Pflueger no longer owns site

A Niu Valley property on which earthmoving work was conducted without a required city permit is owned by Niu LLC, a limited-liability company controlled by Tracy L. Pflueger and Helen Sandy Pflueger Phillips, daughters of Jimmy Pflueger.

A Page One story yesterday incorrectly reported the property is owned by a firm controlled by Jimmy Pflueger. Pflueger had controlling interest in Niu LLC until July 2005 when control was transferred to his daughters, according to records provided to The Advertiser yesterday by a Pflueger spokesman.

In reporting on the story, The Advertiser consulted public business registration records that are currently on file with the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. Those records have not yet been updated to reflect the transfer.
