At 4 feet, 11 inches, Hawai'i Baptist senior Jodi Kamemoto always was one of the tiniest players on the floor this season.

But at season's end, Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II coaches gave Kamemoto the highest honor by voting for her as the league's Player of the Year.

Kamemoto averaged 17.7 points per game in ILH competition, including a 36-point outburst in an 87-84 triple-overtime loss to Punahou and a 28-point effort in a 49-47 loss to Kamehameha. More important, she led the Eagles to a 10-5 league record and their first state tournament berth.

Kamemoto is joined on the ILH DII's all-star first team by Word of Life senior Careena Onosai, St. Francis senior Siutiti Takai, Punahou senior Arielle Daniels, La Pietra junior Courtney Gaddis and Christian Academy junior Ashley Medcalf.

Kamemoto, Gaddis and Medcalf are repeat first-team selections.

La Pietra's Anthony Czaja was named Coach of the Year after leading the Lady Panthers to a 12-1 record and the league championship.
