No dam problems reported in rain-soaked areas

Advertiser Staff

State Civil Defense and land-use officials reported this afternoon that there are no dam-related problems in rain-soaked areas.

The water level at the dam at Lake Wilson was at 74 feet at 2 p.m. and must climb to 83 feet before officials would have to release water and warn residents downstream in Waialua, said Ray Lovell, spokesman for state Civil Defense.
