HPU named a 'best buy in college education'

Hawai'i Pacific University was named one of "Barron's Best Buys in College Education," according to the 2006 edition of the college guidebookHPU is one of the 247 colleges and universities less than 10 percent of institutions of higher education in the country featured in the guide, which selects schools that provide a high-quality educational experience at an affordable price. Barron's evaluates tuition rates, financial aid, student-faculty ratio, freshman profile, a survey of student satisfaction, and other data in making its decisions.
HPU, the largest private university in the state, has also been ranked among the nation's best colleges and universities, according to the 2006 edition of U.S.News & World Report's America's Best Colleges and The Princeton Review 2006 edition guidebook, "The Best 361 Colleges."
