QUICK BITES
Download Butterball podcasts through holidays

 •  Fish cake: It's a staple in many Island kitchens

Advertiser Staff

New this year from the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line is a series of podcasts you can download throughout the holiday season. New podcasts — seven in all — are mounted each Monday at www.Butterball.com.

Topics will include Preparation 101, thawing and food safety, funny stories and Talk-Line lore, leftovers and a Turkey Top 10 list, delivered by Talk-Line veterans.

In case you're not podcast-savvy: A podcast is a sort of talk radio show delivered over the Internet to your computer or to a downloading device (iPod or other MP3 player), or even cell phone. Any software that can play a sound file (i.e., music) can play a podcast; you can listen now, or download the 'cast to listen later. For an introduction, go to http://podcasting.about.com/od/listeningtopodcasts.
