Collision closes Zipper Lane near H1/H2 merge

A collision earlier this morning in the H-1 Zipper Lane inWaipahu prior to the H-1/H-2 merge has left a portion of the zipper structure protruding into the freeway's west-bound lane.
State transportation workers plan to shut down the zipper lane for about an hour so that the affected portion of the zipper lane wall can be moved back into place.
Traffic heading south on the H-2 Freeway will still be able to use the Zipper Lane.
