Arrest made in Oct. 5 fire that destroyed Liliha home

A 32-year-old Punchbowl area man was arrested as a suspect in the Oct. 5 fire in Liliha that destroyed one home and damaged five others, police said.Police described the suspect as the estranged boyfriend of one of the residents whose home was destroyed. Firefighters and police at the scene of the fire determined it had been maliciously set.
After a long search, the suspect was finally located and arrested about 3 p.m. yesterday, police said.
