Rain collapses steel plate covering in Waimanalo

Steel plating covering a small construction site on Hihimanu Street in Waimanalo has partially collapsed under heavy rainfall, said John Cummings, spokesman for Oahu Civil Defense.Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews and workers from the city's Department of Facility Maintenance are responding to the problem. Drivers should exercise caution while traversing Hihimanu Street, Cummings said.
