Rainbow Wahine sweep Nevada in volleyball

Sarah Mason had 13 kills and two aces to lead No. 16 Hawai'i to a 30-24, 30-24, 30-23 Western Athletic Conference women's volleyball victory over Nevada Thursday night at Reno, Nev.Hawai'i is 18-5 overall and tied for the conference lead at 10-1 with No. 23 New Mexico State. The Aggies (27-1 overall) swept Boise State, 31-29, 30-21, 30-22, Thursday night.
Nevada is 14-10 and 8-4.
Hawai'i's Jamie Houston had 10 kills but also had 11 hitting errors. She also had three aces.
Jayme Lee had 11 digs for the Rainbow Wahine.
UH plays at Utah State on Saturday.
