Honoka'a High to get new bathrooms

Advertiser Staff

The state has released $335,000 to design and construct new bathroom facilities at Honoka'a High and Intermediate School on the Big Island.

The project will increase the bathroom facilities in Buildings A, B, C, D and E.  Currently, these lower campus buildings share one boys and one girls restroom.  This project will provide one additional boys and one additional girls restroom.

The Department of Education is scheduled to start the design phase of the project in December, and expects to begin construction in April 2007.
