Two injured in truck accident

Police and firefighters are responding at this time to a report that a garbage truck has overturned on an on-ramp to the east-bound lanes of the H-1 Freeway near the bottom of Makakilo Drive near the Chili's restaurant at the Kapolei Shopping Center.The truck is reported to be lying on its side in a grassy area.
Two people were taken to the hospital.
The accident, which happened about 11:20 a.m., is reminiscent of a similar one on Nov. 30, 2004, in which a refuse company worker was killed.
