A 37-year-old Ka'a'awa man was arrested in Kane'ohe yesterday after a 35-year-old woman told police the man pointed a gun at her during a traffic incident about 1:35 p.m.

Police caught up with the man at the intersection of Kahuhipa and Malina streets in Kane'ohe and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

Photo lineup leads to arrest in bogus check incident

A 37-year-old Kalihi woman was arrested yesterday after she allegedly used a forged check to buy items from a store in the Royal Kunia Shopping Center on Sept. 2.

Police said the woman left with the items and it was later determined that the check was counterfeit and had been imprinted with an alias name and an account number that belongs to a 57-year-old man.

The woman's photograph was later picked out of a photographic lineup and she was arrested her Umi Street home yesterday on suspicion of second-degree forgery and unauthorized possession of confidential information.
