Voters will head to the polls tomorrow to decide a number of federal, state and county races and issues.

Among them are governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House in the 1st and 2nd Congressional Districts as well as contests for state House and Senate, the Board of Education, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and county races.

In addition to proposed amendments to the state Constitution, voters will consider changes to the Honolulu city Charter and proposals in their respective counties.

Here, at a glance, is what you need to know about voting:

WHAT YOU NEED

Poll hours: Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. People in line at 6 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Identification: Bring a photo ID with a signature, such as a Hawai'i driver's license.

Time needed: Elections officials say that to avoid long lines at voting sites, vote during the non-peak hours of 9:30 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.
