Surf expected to be 4 to 6 feet on northern shores

The surf is on the way down today along O'ahu's north and west shores today but on the way up along the eastern shoreline, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Surf along northern shores should be in the 4- to 6-foot range, forecasters said.

In other areas, surf is expect to reach 2 to 4 feet along west- and east-facing shores and 1to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

A moderate north swell due in tomorrow and is expected to continue through Thursday. Surf along south facing shores may briefly bump up to moderate levels on Thursday. Otherwise, no significant swells are expected.
