Trade winds show up for election day

The trade winds will continue to strengthen through tomorrow, then turn southeasterly and weaken late in the week, according to the National Weather Service.

It will be mostly clear for the next few days, although the trades may bring a few showers with them.

Here's a more detailed look at what's in store:

Today, mostly sunny. Highs 80 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Tonight, mostly clear with isolated showers. Lows 69 to 77. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tomorrow, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 79 to 86. East winds 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Tomorrow night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 67 to 75. East winds around 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday, partly cloudy in the morning then becoming mostly sunny. Isolated showers. Highs 79 to 85. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 65 to 73. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
