Former Warrior McBriar still No. 1 in NFL in punting

Former University of Hawaii punter Mat McBriar of the Dallas Cowboys continues to lead the NFL in punting.McBriar (UH, 2000-02) is averaging 49.2 yards per punt. The former all-Western Athletic Conference punter has punted 35 times and his longest punt is 75 yards.
The No. 2 punter overall is Oakland's Shane Lechler, who is averaging 48.5. The No. 2 punter in the National Football Conference behind McBriar is Brad Maynard of the Chicago Bears at 46.8.
