Outback Steakhouse to be sold for $3.2 billion

OSI Restaurant Partners Inc., whose Outback Steakhouse chain includes seven Hawai'i locations, said it agreed to a takeover offer worth $3.2 billion including assumed debt.The buyers include Bain Capital Partners LLC, Catterton Partners as well as Outback's founders. The publicly-traded Outback has four restaurants on O'ahu, two on Maui and one on the Big Island.
