STORK REPORT: Tino Ibach, former member of The Krush and Tino and the Rhythm Klub, and his wife, Nikki, welcomed son Koa Ordiz Ibach on Oct. 11. The baby was 6 pounds, 12 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long at birth. The Bakersfield, Calif., family is truly a mixed plate. As dad Ibach says, Koa is three-eighths Filipino, one-fourth Caucasian (Scottish, Irish, Dutch), one-eighth Hawaiian, one-eighth African, one-sixteenth Japanese and one-sixteenth Mexican. "This kid is gonna be confused," said dad. ...

PERSONALITIES: A galaxy of stars descended on the World Festival Gala at Ala Moana Center Sunday, capping a week of fashion events. Celebs included "Lost" cast members Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim and Henry Ian Cusick, on the red carpet and partying at Chanel, Prada, Fendi and Dior.

Steve Kemble of US Weekly's Fashion Police page and Style Network's "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?" also worked the red carpet. Gabriel Union, currently on Isle screens in "Running With Scissors," appeared in Theory. Jasmine Trias and Japan's most photographed model, Shiho, also made appearances.

Union, Kemble and pals relaxed at Morton's the Steak House afterwards. ...

Jeff Peterson's CD launch party for his "Slack Key Guitar: The Artistry of Jeff Peterson," was held at Michel's, where he performs Saturdays, and the event was hosted by the restaurant and his Palm Records label. The Rev. Dennis Kamakahi, of Sons of Hawaii fame, stopped by to support Peterson, who dubbed Kamakahi (himself a noted ki ho'alu artist) "my hero." Kamakahi recently was one of the performing artists earning a Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts fellowship, along with Yukie Shiroma, in ceremonies at Washington Place. ...

STAGE TIDBITS: Folks have been wondering and asking about Jason Tam, the Hawai'i lad playing Paul San Marco in "A Chorus Line" on Broadway now. In a Broadway.com online interview, Jason, the son of James and Linda Tam of Hono-lulu, reflects on growing up in a household of two older sisters, one (Emily) theatrically inclined, and his eventual glide on to the professional stage. He flashes a shaka, too, and reveals some little-known facts about his Gavroche stint in "Les Miserables" on Broadway in his youth, during which he played Young Eponine clad in girls' clothing — and why — and how the late Tommy Aguilar "discovered him" and encouraged him to try out for "Les Miz." Go to www.theatre.com/html/id /3004537 for the interview. ...

Actor Joseph Morales has been cast as Henry in the new off-Broadway musical, "Henry and Mudge," at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York. The play is based on a picture book about the adventures of a boy and his 180-pound dog. ...

Miss Hannigan and Annie did a photo shoot a few days back at La Pietra. That is to say, Shari Lynn, playing the teacher, and Channing Weir, appearing as the title orphan in Army Community Theatre's "Annie" (opening Nov. 16 at Richardson Theatre), posed for photos. Then they did something they'd never do on stage: eat together — at Dixie Grill. Weir's brother Ian also is in the cast and the two youngsters have been inspired to sing and dance by their mom, Yvonne. ...

Just added to the "Annie" cast: Shawna Masuda, Cathy Foy and Jodi Leong, alternating in the "Star-to-Be" segment; others in the show are Leonard Piggee as Oliver Warbucks, Ethan Okura as Rooster, Karen Velasek as Grace and Star, the Labradoodle, as the pooch Sandy. ...

ITEMIZATIONS: There's a buzz in London, with journalists calling to inquire if there's truth in a New York Post item that actress Elizabeth Taylor, who was here earlier this year, is dating a Hawai'i fellow. A source indicated she might have bought a house on the Big Island to spend more time with him. Anyone know? ...

Keola Beamer has completed a short film (he did the story as well as the music) at Lucas Films and his fans can count on a DVD release shortly. ...
