No debate: Traffic back to normal after election day

Advertiser Staff

Election Day 2006 is over with and the morning commute is back to normal.

That means heavy town-bound traffic on the H-1 Freeway with the usual backups at the H-1/H-2 merge and again at the Middle

Street merge at this hour.

Koko Head-bound traffic doesn't lighten up much until once past the Kinau Street off-ramp.

Traffic heading in from the Hawaii Kai area flows well until the Kahala Mall area, but begins to back up prior to the Koko Head Avenue overpass.

There are no significant problems heading in from Windward O'ahu.
