United Airlines offers holiday discounts to Mainland

United Airlines is beginning a holiday air fare sale that includes one-way fares of $187 from Hawai'i to Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento and San Francisco.In ads appearing today, the airline is promoting fares good for travel from Hawai'i between Dec. 1 and Christmas Day, with return trips between Dec. 28 and Jan. 14. The airline said the fares may be booked through its United.com Web site and that 1,000 extra frequent flier miles are available to travelers.
Advertised fares to the U.S. East Coast range betweeen $199 for Boston and $296 for Washington, D.C.
