'Dancing With the Stars' champ to appear at Nov. 26 benefit

The ball, an affiliate event of the Filipino Centennial Commission, aims to hightlight and showcase the Filipino community's love for dancing. Local ballroom champs such as Chris Bayot, Carmelo B, Al Franz, Debbie Borges and Simon Escano also will perform.
The dance is a benefit for the Larawan Youth Ensemble and the Mother Earth Foundation. Tickets are $75 and include a buffet dinner. For reservation, call the Centennial Ball hot line at 848-8808, or Jeannie at 275-7127.
