Man critical after moped crash

Advertiser Staff

A 34-year-old Honolulu man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition last night after his moped collided with a car that was turning into a driveway, according to police.

At 6:31 p.m. the man was driving on Lusitania Street, 54 feet south of San Antonio Avenue, when his 1986 Honda moped collided with a white 2002 Saturn making a left turn into a driveway. The moped did not have a headlight, police said.

The man was thrown off the moped and hit his head on the street. He remained in critical condition late last night.
