Hau'ula-based subcontractor teams with California firm

Bear62 Corp., a Hau'ula-based engineering subcontractor, is entering a joint venture with Santa Monica, Calif.'s Stronghold Industries Inc. to pursue government contracts together.Stronghold, in a press statement, said the joint venture has qualified as a subcontractor on U.S. Navy housing projects. The statement said Bear62's past customers include Safeco Insurance and Global Construction Services, and the firm currently manages quality control on a hydrant fuel system at Hickam Air Force Base.
