Scattered showers in afternoon forecast

Expect more humid weather today with weak southeasterly to southerly winds prevailing throughout most of the week, the National Weather Service said.

A front will spread showers across the state, particularly near Kaua'i, with showers trailing off by Wednesday.

Today, partly cloudy skies and isolated showers are forecast for the morning, with scattered showers in the afternoon. Temperatures should be in the 77 to 84 range, with south winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with scattered showers in the evening. Showers are likely after midnight, along with south winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow and Wednesday, expect mostly cloudy skies with occasional showers and highs 75 to 82.
