Best surf should be along north, east shores today

A north-northwest swell producing moderate-sized surf is expected to arrive late tomorrow, the National Weather Service said today. The swell will gradually turn to a more northerly direction Wednesday night and should remain here through Friday.In the meantime, today's surf will be in the 2- to 4-feet range along north and east shores and 2 feet or less along west and south shores.
A small south-southwest swell is expected to arrive Thursday that should slightly increase surf heights along south shores through Saturday, the National Weather Service said.
