Usual bottlenecks greet morning commuters

There are no surprises for morning commuters coming off their three-day weekend, but there are the usual bottleneck spots to deal with.Slowdowns are occurring on the H-1 Freeway at the H-1/H-2 merge and Middle Street merge, with traffic through Pearl City already backed up to the Waikele Shopping Center by 6:15 a.m. Even the Zipper Lane traffic has already slowed to a crawl.
