Church group to host West O'ahu Thanksgiving lu'au

Advertiser Staff

Hope Chapel West O'ahu invites people from West O'ahu to take part in its Thanksgiving Lu'au slated for Sunday at its adopted school, Waikele Elementary.

The event will begin with a 10 a.m. performance by the Hope Chapel West O'ahu Worship team, a sermon by Mike Kai and music after the service by Kelly Boy DeLima and his group, Kapena.

There's also free Hawaiian food and keiki activities.

The lu'au tradition began in 2004 with more than 1,500 people attending. For free tickets, call 677-8844, check out the chapel's Web Site at www.hcwo.com or send e-mail to luah@hcwo.com.
