Traffic backing up through 'Aiea

The good news: No major stalls or wrecks on any of the major roadways heading into town for morning commuters as of 6:15 a.m.The bad news: The usual bottlenecks are slowing traffic to a snail's pace in some hot spots and rain in 'Aiea is contributing to the turtle pace.
The Waikele onramp is backed up through 'Aiea and the H-1/H-2 merge has backed up with the zipper lane also crawling along.
In town, traffic slows near Middle Street and is also backing up near Vineyard.
