Mason, Houston lead UH volleyball past Boise State

Sarah Mason and Jamie Houston each had 25 kills as No. 13 University of Hawaii held off Boise State in a women's volleyball match Wednesday in Boise, Idaho.

The scores were 30-28, 30-32, 32-30, 30-22.

Juliana Sanders had a career-high 10 blocks as UH improved to 22-5 overall and 14-1 in the Western Athletic Conference. Boise State is 11-16 and 4-10.

UH plays Idaho Friday 5 p.m. Hawaii time.

A victory Friday would clinch the WAC title for UH.
