Stranded fishing vessel expected to port around 4 p.m.

Advertiser Staff

A fishing vessel that had been stranded at sea the past several days is expected to arrive in Honolulu around 4 p.m. today, the Coast Guard said early this morning.

The Ulheelani, a 65-foot commercial fishing boat with four to five crew members, lost its engine power and had been drifting about 80 miles out at sea when the Coast Guard located it last night around 7 p.m.

All crew members are believed to be in good health, the Coast Guard said.
