By Wayne Harada
Advertiser Entertainment Writer

A crew from the Outdoor Channel's "Randy Jones' Strike Zone" is on Lana'i to tape a couple of shows for broadcast in early 2007.

Jones, a former Major League baseball pitcher, is star and host of the cable show. He also is president of Randy Jones Baseball Barbecue Sauce Inc. and Randy Jones Baseball Academy and hosts a radio talk show heard in Southern California.

Also here, as a guest on the show: Darrell Evans, who played for the Braves, Giants and Tigers in a 20-year career, 1969 to 1989. He was the first player to hit 40 homers with the Tigers in 1985.
